Yacht Safety Management
Our aim
To provide a service that monitors your safety equipment remotely and provides timely reminders of when items need renewing, servicing or replacement. In this way we help you ensure that all your equipment is legal, current and ready to use.
Having run superyachts ourselves we are very aware that captains and owners have a huge number of items to worry about in relation to the running and servicing of their vessels and all its myriad of equipment. It is often hard to remember the expiry date of the flares, or when the liferaft needs servicing. This is particularly true with Class vessels that have annual inspections when their charter license may be revoked or delayed in renewal by items that are not ready.
How we do it
In the case of a new vessel where we have provided the equipment we will have it logged and will simply charge a small annual administration fee for providing the captain / owner with a timely reminder of equipment due for service as it becomes due
In the case of an existing vessel we can come aboard and make a detailed log of all the safety equipment and when it is due for service or expiration. In this case there is a modest setup cost for the initial visit and then the same annual subscription service as above.
During any visits to the vessel we will also check the condition of existing safety equipment and make recommendations for additional equipment that we think would be advantageous and improve the safety of the vessel and crew. Such recommendations are free advice given in good faith - we do not insist on you buying it from us, or recommend pointless additional equipment.
Our interest is in your safety and that of your family, guests and crew.
The next step
The next step is to complete our contact sheet giving us some basic details of your vessel and one of us will contact you shortly to discuss how we can help you.
